Pat Seeumpornroj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University where she earned her Bachelor and Master of Architecture. She also graduated with a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Architecture with a concentration in History and Theory of Architecture and Urbanism from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on what she terms “architectural assemblages” that examine constellations between tradition, modernity and identity in the making of global forms in the architecture of modern Thai history from 1932 onwards.
